Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 27 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to courses, workshops, continuing professional development (CPD), online learning and other training services provided by Tula Training.
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking. By booking a course, you agree to the terms applicable to that booking, subject to your statutory rights.
1. About Tula Training
Tula Training provides Pilates teacher training and professional development courses, including Level 3 Mat and Reformer training, CPD workshops and online learning.
Business name: Tula Training
Business address: 80 Warriner Gardens, London SW11 4DU
Email: info@tulatraining.co.uk
Website: www.tulatraining.co.uk
2. Course Information and Bookings
Course descriptions, fees, dates, delivery methods, entry requirements, assessment arrangements and completion deadlines will be provided in the relevant course information.
Please ensure you understand the course content, time commitment, attendance requirements and assessment workload before booking.
Our teacher training courses involve a significant commitment to practical training, independent study, assessments and tutor-supported learning. Scheduled teaching may take place over six to eight weeks, although learners may be permitted up to twelve months to complete outstanding requirements, subject to the specific course rules.
A booking is confirmed once Tula Training has accepted the booking and the required payment arrangements have been agreed.
Learners are responsible for providing accurate contact information and ensuring they can attend the required sessions.
3. Course Fees and Payment Options
The advertised course fee will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Learners may choose to pay the full course fee at the time of booking or use an instalment arrangement where this is offered.
Where a booking payment is required, it forms part of the total course fee and is not an additional charge. The payment schedule and any applicable deadlines will be confirmed before booking.
If you choose to pay by instalments, you agree to the payment schedule provided at enrolment. Withdrawing from a course does not automatically cancel outstanding payment obligations; any amount remaining payable will be determined in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and applicable law.
If you experience difficulty making a payment, please contact us as soon as possible.
4. Cancellation by the Learner
Tula Training understands that circumstances can change. However, our courses require advance planning, tutor allocation, preparation of learning resources and the commitment of limited places.
Learners are therefore asked to consider their availability, finances and ability to complete the course before enrolling.
4.1 Statutory cancellation rights
Where a learner books online or through another distance-selling method as a consumer, a statutory 14-day cancellation period will generally apply, subject to the relevant legal requirements and any applicable exceptions.
The cancellation period usually begins when the contract is entered into.
If a learner asks Tula Training to begin providing services during this period, the applicable rules regarding early commencement and payment for services supplied will apply.
For digital learning content supplied during the cancellation period, the right to cancel may be lost once supply begins only where the required express consent and acknowledgement have been obtained.
The effect of accessing online materials or attending a live session will depend on the type of contract, the service supplied and the applicable legal requirements.
Details of any required consent will be provided during the booking process. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions removes any statutory cancellation rights that apply.
4.2 Cancellations after the statutory cancellation period
Once the applicable statutory cancellation period has expired, cancellations will be subject to the following proposed cancellation schedule, subject to applicable consumer law.
Notice before the course starts
Proposed cancellation charge
More than 6 weeks
25% of the total course fee
Between 4 and 6 weeks
50% of the total course fee
Less than 4 weeks
Up to 75% of the total course fee, subject to a fair assessment of the circumstances and reasonable losses
These charges are intended to reflect the administrative work, planning, tutor commitments and financial impact associated with cancelling a place. They must be applied fairly and proportionately, taking account of costs saved and whether the place can be filled.
Any refund due will be calculated after applying the relevant lawful cancellation charge.
4.3 Withdrawal after the course has started
By enrolling, learners commit to the full programme rather than purchasing individual teaching days or sessions.
Our courses involve a structured programme of teaching, practical training, independent study, assessment and tutor support. Once training has commenced, a learner's withdrawal can have a significant financial impact on Tula Training.
If a learner decides to withdraw after the course has started because they have changed their mind, underestimated the workload or decided the course is not suitable for them, they will not automatically be entitled to a full refund.
When considering a cancellation or refund request, Tula Training will take account of:
Training, tutor support and other services already provided.
Course materials and resources supplied.
Reasonable costs and commitments already incurred.
Costs saved as a result of the withdrawal.
Whether the vacated place can realistically be filled.
The circumstances of the withdrawal and any applicable statutory rights.
Where a learner has paid in instalments, the amount remaining payable will be determined in accordance with the agreed contract and applicable law.
A learner cannot assume that they will only pay for the sessions they have attended. Equally, any charge for the uncompleted portion of a course must be fair and legally enforceable.
These provisions do not restrict a learner's rights where Tula Training fails to deliver the service promised or where another statutory remedy applies.
4.4 Bookings made within four weeks of the course start date
Bookings made within four weeks of the advertised course start date are subject to the cancellation terms confirmed at booking.
Because the course is approaching and resources and tutor time may already have been committed, cancellation charges may be higher than for earlier cancellations, subject to applicable law.
This provision does not override any statutory cancellation or refund rights.
4.5 How to cancel
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@tulatraining.co.uk. Please include your full name, course title and course start date.
Tula Training will confirm receipt and explain the applicable cancellation arrangements.
5. Course Transfers
Tula Training recognises that learners may occasionally need to request a transfer. However, courses are planned around specific dates and group sizes.
Transfers are therefore subject to availability and the following arrangements.
More than six weeks before the course start date
A transfer may be arranged for an administration fee of £50.
Between four and six weeks before the course start date
A transfer may be arranged for an administration fee of £100, subject to availability.
Less than four weeks before the course start date
Routine transfer requests will not be accepted within four weeks of the course start date. Any exceptional request will be considered at the discretion of Tula Training and will depend on the circumstances and available options.
All requests must be submitted in writing. A transfer is not confirmed until Tula Training has agreed to it in writing.
Transfer fees must be fair and proportionate to the costs involved. These arrangements do not affect any statutory rights that may apply.
If a transfer cannot be accommodated, the original booking remains subject to the cancellation policy.
6. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Tula Training
Tula Training reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course where necessary.
Where a course is cancelled, learners will be offered a suitable alternative course or date at no additional cost.
If no suitable alternative is agreed, course fees paid for the cancelled course will be refunded in full.
Tula Training will notify affected learners as soon as reasonably practicable.
Travel, accommodation and other additional expenses incurred by learners will not ordinarily be reimbursed, except where reimbursement is required by law.
7. Minimum Course Numbers
Some courses require a minimum number of confirmed learners to proceed.
Tula Training will make reasonable efforts to plan courses responsibly and communicate any significant changes to affected learners as early as possible.
If a course cannot proceed because minimum numbers are not met, Section 6 will apply.
8. Attendance and Course Completion
Learners are responsible for attending the required sessions and completing the necessary learning activities, assignments and assessments.
Where a course forms part of a regulated qualification, completion and certification are subject to the relevant awarding organisation's requirements and quality assurance procedures.
If a learner cannot attend a session or complete a course within the expected timeframe, they should contact Tula Training as soon as possible.
Missed sessions do not automatically entitle a learner to a refund, replacement session or extension. Any available arrangements will depend on the course requirements and applicable rules.
Additional fees may apply where extra support, reassessment or an extension is permitted and the relevant charges have been disclosed.
9. Online Learning and Digital Resources
Online courses may include recorded content, downloadable materials, live tutor sessions, assessments and access to a learning platform.
Access arrangements and any applicable completion deadlines will be explained in the course information.
Learners are responsible for having suitable equipment, software and internet access.
Login details must be kept secure and must not be shared with others. Unauthorised sharing of course content or access may result in access being restricted, subject to applicable law.
Tula Training will make reasonable efforts to provide access to the agreed learning resources and sessions.
10. Student Conduct and Responsibilities
Learners are expected to:
Tula Training aims to provide an inclusive and supportive learning environment. We reserve the right to take proportionate action in cases of serious misconduct, harassment, discrimination, unsafe behaviour or academic misconduct, following a fair process where appropriate.
11. Health, Safety and Professional Practice
Practical Pilates training may involve exercise, movement observation, teaching practice and the use of equipment.
Learners must follow reasonable safety instructions and inform the tutor of any relevant concern that may affect safe participation.
Our courses provide education and professional development. They do not replace individual medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Completion of a course does not automatically authorise a learner to diagnose or treat medical conditions or practise beyond their qualifications, insurance conditions or professional scope of practice.
12. Certificates and Qualifications
Certificates of attendance or course completion will be issued in accordance with the relevant course requirements.
Where a course leads to a regulated qualification, certification is subject to the applicable awarding organisation's requirements and successful completion of required assessments.
Attendance alone does not guarantee certification, employment, professional membership or accreditation unless expressly stated in the course information.
Any claims of endorsement or regulated status apply only to the course or component for which the relevant status has been granted.
13. Intellectual Property
Course manuals, workbooks, videos, presentations, diagrams, assessment materials and other learning resources remain the intellectual property of Tula Training or the relevant rights holder, unless otherwise stated.
Materials are provided for personal learning and professional development.
Learners must not reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, record or use course materials to deliver their own training without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
14. Privacy and Personal Information
Tula Training collects and uses personal information to process bookings, administer courses, support learning and meet legal or regulatory obligations.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and our separate Privacy Policy.
Please refer to the Privacy Policy on our website for details of how information is collected, used, stored and shared.
15. Complaints and Feedback
We welcome feedback and aim to resolve concerns fairly and promptly.
If you have a complaint about a course, tutor, assessment or other aspect of our service, please contact [insert contact email], explaining the issue and the outcome you are seeking.
Where a regulated qualification is involved, the relevant awarding organisation's complaints or assessment appeals procedures may also apply.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights.
16. Liability and Consumer Rights
Tula Training will provide its services with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions removes your statutory consumer rights.
17. Changes to These Terms
Tula Training may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes to its services, business arrangements or legal requirements.
The terms applicable to a booking will generally be those agreed at the time of booking, unless a change is required by law or otherwise validly agreed.
Any updated version will be published on our website with a revised date.
18. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply.
Disputes will be dealt with by the courts with appropriate jurisdiction, subject to your statutory rights.
